Hi, my name is Matt and I have recently lost about 20 pounds from being on the Medifast diet. It took me about two months but that was because I didn’t want to rush the results. I also had two months before I went on vacation! So what is the Medifast Diet?

My thoughts on what makes Medifast.com’s program Unique?
I found the Medifast program very easy to start and after I lost the weight I still continue eating the food. I was nervous after ordering the food because I thought that I would be stuck eating a bunch of cardboard tasting food while my wife was eating normal stuff! My 4-week supply arrived and I cracked open one of the lunches to eat since it was early afternoon. It was Chili. The chili was a tad plain so I spiced it up with some fat-free cheddar! Wow, I was impressed. My picky wife liked it too..
That is just one example of the meals, needless to say my 4-week supply only lasted two weeks since my wife ate a bunch of meals too! She decided that she wanted to loose some weight as well. In case your spouse isn’t as supportive, there are no worries! As long as you eat the medifast meals during the day, you can have a “lean and green” meal together with your spouse.
The Medifast program requires that you eat six times per day. Five of the meals are provided by the company (so you eat breakfast, lunch, dinner, and three medifast snacks.) The final meal is the “lean and green” and you make that one. You can have this main meal at anytime, but most people eat if for dinner so that they can sit down to a more substantial meal with their families. Perfect for when your family members are not doing the diet. Lean meat and throw in a salad or stir fry vegetables is perfect or even more elaborate, my favorite, tofu noodles topped with chicken and Alfredo sauce!
