Lean & Green: Tuna Burgers and Mashed Cauliflower
Yum! A great medifast lean and green recipe. Here’s how to add some great flavor to you routine of prepackaged food! By making some tuna burgers and mashed cauliflower! Here’s how you make the burgers:
Get a mixing bowl
- Mix in a half cup of carbquik
- Three cans of albacore in water (tuna)
- One large organic brown egg
- One vidalia onion
- 2 tablespoons Relish
- Spice to taste (salt / pepper)
Make into patties, sprinkle some carbquik on top and bottom
Sauté to golden brown in extra-virgin olive oil adding lemon / lime juice to taste

Tuna Burger with Mashed Cauliflower
Mashed Cauliflower is a great low carbohydrate alternative to mashed potatoes.
- We take a bag of frozen cauliflower and dump it in boiling water.
- Let the water continue to boil for about ten minutes.
- Remove the cauliflower from the heat and strain in a caulinder or strainer
- Put the cauliflower back into the pan
- Mash it or use a mixer
- Add a bit of milk and butter
Serve both items with cheese on top and a lime for garnish / flavoring.
